Dovetail is a next-generation tool for social enterprise that connects social organisations with investors and allows easier measurement of social impact programs and communication amongst stakeholders. The goal of the project was to develop the user experience and functional spec, craft the messaging and visual identity, and ultimately build the platform.

My role was to develop logo and visual identity of Dovetail to effectively communicate it’s mission of bringing people together to improve communities. While getting feedback from art director and client, I created logo design concepts, developed brand elements, user experience and visual design for marketing/coming soon page. In designing the identity I aimed to create approachable and trustworthy brand, while using simple shapes and people photography (showing different social programs) to convey grass root nature of the brand and create connection with the audience.

This project was done at Celery Design Collaborative.
